Regina Green
take from me anything you want
a small mouse drowned in a glass jar
it lives in a world of knowing the past
from the future
i am contained in my own
hovering
a sordid little shipwreck
in the black eye i see miles of seed
and high grass
its body a jewel i am not
ready to leave go
