A giant
that
appears
small
In this one, we take the kids to
the parade. You can put them
all on your shoulders—they don't
have to take turns. We can still
stand in the front of the crowd—
we block no one's view. When
the ghosts catch candy from
the firetruck, the people near us
gasp at the way it shimmers
and then at the way it doesn't.
